Ashton Chase Goudeau is an American pitcher with the Colorado Rockies of Major League Baseball. He was born on July 23, 1992.  In the 27th round of the 2012 MLB Draft, the Kansas City Royals selected Goudeau. He has also represented the Cincinnati Reds in MLB.

From Union, Missouri, Goudeau graduated from Union High School. After graduating from high school, he went to Maple Woods Community College after being undrafted.

In the 27th round of the 2012 MLB Draft, the Kansas City Royals picked Goudeau. Goudeau played for the AZL Royals for the whole 2012 season, posting a 1-1 record and a 3.97 ERA in 34 innings.



He played all of 2013 with the Idaho Falls Chukars, posting a 1-5 record and a 10.18 ERA in 40+2/3 innings. Goudeau, David McKay, Matt Tenuta, and Colin Rodgers were traded to the Seattle Mariners on March 22, 2018, for a sum of one dollar.

He played for the Tacoma Rainiers, the Modesto Nuts, and the Arkansas Travelers in 2018. Goudeau was taken off waivers by the Cincinnati Reds on May 2, 2021.

Goudeau made his debut for the season on May 23 against the Milwaukee Brewers, tossing 2.1 hitless innings. He pitched for the Reds in 5 games, recording a 4.00 ERA and 5 strikeouts.

Goudeau was sent to the Triple-A Louisville Bats on July 21 and was listed for assignment by the Reds on July 28.

Goudeau was traded from the Colorado Rockies to the San Diego Padres on July 29, 2017, for cash considerations. On August 1, he hit his first career hit with a single off of Reiss Knehr in his professional debut.
