Ashton Goudeau is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Colorado Rockies of Major League Baseball (MLB). Goudeau was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 27th round of the 2012 MLB draft. He has also played in MLB for the Cincinnati Reds.
Union High School in Union, Missouri, is where Goudeau went to school. He went to Maple Woods Community College after high school because he wasn’t drafted.
Goudeau was drafted in the 27th round of the 2012 MLB draft by the Kansas City Royals. While pitching for the AZL Royals in 2012, Goudeau was 1-1 with a 3.97 ERA in 34 innings of work.
Idaho Falls Chukars, 2013 season, 1–5 with 10.18 ERA in 40+2/3 innings. Over the course of the 2014 season, he pitched for both the Idaho Falls and Lexington Legends, going 1–0 with a 4.28 ERA in 33+23 innings of work.
With Lexington and the Wilmington Blue Rocks, he has an 8-7 record with a 3.22 ERA in 85+2/3 innings of work in 2015. Wilmington and Northwest Arkansas Naturals each gave Goudeau a 7–17 record and a 5.29 earned run average in the 2016 season.
He threw 60 innings for the AZL and NWA during the 2017 season, going 3–7 with a 5.10 ERA.
