Kristopher Lee Bryant, professionally called Kris Bryant is known to be a professional baseball player from America. He plays as a third baseman and an outfielder for the Colorado Rockies baseball team.
He played baseball as an amateur at Bonanza High School in Las Vegas and the University of San Diego. In 2013, the Chicago Cubs selected him in the 2013 MLB draft. He agreed to play with them and signed with the Cubs for a $6.7 million signing bonus.
He began playing baseball professionally that year with the Boise Hawks of the Class A-Short Season Northwest League. He also played in Arizona Fall League (AFL) after the 2013 season. He was assigned in 2014 to spend the season with the Tennessee Smokies of the Class AA Southern League.
That year, he won the Home Run Derby award. He was promoted during the season to the Iowa Cubs of the Class AAA Pacific Coast League. The Cubs promoted him to the major leagues on April 17, 2015, and he made his MLB debut that day.
