Myers played baseball for Winter Haven High School in his hometown of Winter Haven, Florida, where he was born. He intended to play collegiate baseball at the University of South Florida after high school, but when the Baltimore Orioles selected him in the sixth round of the 2016 MLB draft, he decided to sign with them instead.

In 2020, he did not participate in a minor league game because the season was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He started the 2021 campaign with the Double-A South’s Montgomery Biscuits before being moved up to the Triple-A East’s Durham Bulls during the year.
In November 2021, the Rays dealt him to the Cleveland Guardians. After the deal, he was included on the 40-man roster of the Guardians and played the 2022 season for the Triple-A International League’s Columbus Clippers.
