Brayan Hommy Rocchio, simply called Brayan Rocchio happens to be a professional minor league player from Venezuela. He plays for the Cleveland Indians baseball team and ays the position of shortstop for the team. He switches when batting and throws right.
He was born on January 13, 2001, in Caracas in Venezuela. Brayan used to play baseball whiles growing up in his hometown. In 2017, the Indians signed him into their organisation as an international free agent. He started playing professionally in 2018 with the Dominican Summer League (DSL) Indians.
Brayan played in 25 games for the DSL Indians and was promoted during the season to the Arizona League Indians. During the 2019 season, he was assigned by the Indians to play the entire season with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers in Low–A ball where he played in 69 games and hit for a .250 batting average.
He did not play in any minor league game during the 2020 season due to the cancellation of the season caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. In November 2021, the Cleveland Indians selected his contract and added him to their 40-man roster.
