One of the professional baseball players currently in the major leagues is Richie Palacios. His real name is Richard Palacios. He plays for the Cleveland Indians and he made his MLB debut for the Indians in April 2022.
Richie played baseball non-professionally at Berkeley Carroll School in New York City and Towson University. He also played collegiate summer baseball with the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod Baseball League before he graduated from college.
The Cleveland Indians drafted him in the third round of the 2018 MLB draft. He signed with them and began playing professional baseball that season after he was assigned to play for the Arizona League Indians, Mahoning Valley Scrappers and Lake County Captains.
