Stuart Alexander Fairchild is an American professional baseball outfielder who currently plays for the Cincinnati Reds of Major League Baseball.
He was born on March 17, 1996. (MLB). He attended Wake Forest University, where he participated in the college baseball program.
In the 2017 Major League Baseball Draft, the Cincinnati Reds selected Fairchild in the second round of selections. In 2021, he debuted in Major League Baseball with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
He has also played for the San Francisco Giants and the Seattle Mariners throughout his career. The Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, was where Fairchild’s education began: Seattle Preparatory School.
He was selected for the All-ACC team and the All-American team three times while playing collegiate baseball with the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
He slashed in 2017, which was the year of his junior year. He played in 63 games and had a batting line of 360/439/636 with 17 home runs and 67 RBIs.
When the Seattle Mariners signed free agent Fairchild on April 23, 2022, he was moved in return for cash. In 16 at-bats, he hit.438/.573/.625 for Tacoma.
For Seattle, he went three at-bats without a hit. On May 12th, 2022, he was given the go-ahead to begin his service. In a deal that occurred on May 14, 2022, the San Francisco Giants acquired Fairchild in exchange for Alex Blandino and cash.
The Cincinnati Reds claimed Fairchild on June 11, 2022, after he was placed on waivers.
