Albert Almora Jr is an American professional baseball center fielder for the Cincinnati Reds of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played in MLB for the Chicago Cubs and New York Mets.
Almora finished the season with a batting average of .298, eight home runs, and 46 runs batted in while playing in 132 games. In addition to this, he altered the name that was displayed on the back of his shirt, which went from ‘Almora Jr.’ to just ‘Almora.’
Almora made three diving catches in center field during the Cubs’ away game against the Colorado Rockies on April 22. These catches came in the first, second, and ninth innings of the Cubs’ 9–7 victory over the Rockies.
