Connor Overton is a professional baseball player who plays as a pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds baseball team. He had his non-professional baseball career at Atlee High School and Old Dominion University.
He started playing professional baseball in 2014 for the Miami Marlins after they drafted him in the 2014 MLB draft. The Marlins assigned him to play with the Low-A Batavia Muckdogs that season. During the 2015 season, he played for the Single-A Greensboro Grasshoppers.
He signed a minor league contract with the Washington Nationals in July 2015 and was assigned by the Nationals to play for the Low-A Auburn Doubledays and the Triple-A Syracuse Chiefs. He signed with the Sioux City Explorers of the independent American Association of Professional Baseball in April 2016.
