Professional tennis player Nicholas Hilmy Kyrgios is from Australia. He was made on April 27, 1995, in Canberra, Australia. He has a height of 1.93 meters. Up until the eighth grade, Kyrgios attended Radford College. He then finished his senior year at Daramalan College in Canberra in 2012.
At an Australian grade 4 competition in 2008, Kyrgios played in his first junior match at the age of 13. He won his debut match on the ITF junior circuit in Fiji in June 2010 at the age of 15. In his first-round qualifying match at the 2012 Australian Open, Kyrgios prevailed in a tiebreak to take the opening set, but Mathieu Rodrigues easily defeated him in the second and third sets.
In his junior career, Kyrgios took home victories in the boys’ singles and Doubles competitions at the 2013 Australian Open, 2012 French Opens, 2012 Wimbledon, and 2013 Wimbledon Championships. In his professional career, he has defeated Rafael Nadal, the then-number one player in the world, to go to the quarterfinals of two singles majors: the Australian Open in 2015 and the Wimbledon Championships in 2014.
After Dominik Hrbat and Lleyton Hewitt, Kyrgios is the only player to have defeated each of the Big Three (Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, and Rafael Nadal) in their respective debut matches.
Kyrgios is a contentious tennis player known as the sport’s “bad boy.” He has gotten more fines for his violent on-court behaviour than any other player in ATP history, claims Tennishead magazine. He has engaged in verbal abuse, broken his racket, argued with the officials and the crowd, and even thrown a chair.
