The Las Vegas Raiders are a professional American football team based in the Las Vegas metropolitan area.
The Raiders compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference West division.
According to reports, the team is head coached by Josh McDaniels with their stadium and arena being the Allegiant Stadium. The team in many leagues including the AFC West, National Football League, AFC as well as the AFL.
Why are they called the Raiders?
The raiders are known by their name due to them being the target of local jokes, leading to the change to the Raiders before the 1960 season began.
