The Indianapolis Colts are an American football team that plays professionally. The Colts are a member team of the American Football Conference (AFC) South division of the National Football League (NFL).
The Colts have played their home games at Lucas Oil Stadium since the 2008 campaign. The team had previously spent more than 20 years (1984–2007) playing at the RCA Dome. The Colts have hosted the NFL Scouting Combine every year since 1987.
Since their establishment in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1953, when then-owner Carroll Rosenbloom bought the Dayton Triangles-Dallas Texans franchise’s assets, the Colts have participated in NFL competitions as a member club.
