Randy  Johnson Jr. who is commonly referred to as “Duke” by his teammates plays for the National Football League’s Buffalo Bills.

Johnson led Miami Norland to a 15-0 record and the state Class 5A championship during his senior season, amassing 1,957 rushing yards and 29 touchdowns, 14 receptions for 232 receiving yards and three touchdowns, three kickoff returns, and one punt return for scores.

He scored five touchdowns against Wakulla in the championship game.

He was also a standout sprinter and long jumper for the school’s track and field squad. With a leap of 6.60 meters, he finished fifth in the long jump category at the 2010 GMAC Qualifiers.

At the third annual Miramar Invitational in 2011, he finished fourth in the 100 meters with a time that was a career-best 10.62 seconds.

With a time of 22.31 seconds, he came in third place in the 200 meters at the FHSAA 3A District 16.
