Stefon Marsean Diggs is an American football wide receiver who currently plays for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. Diggs was born on November 29, 1993.
After playing college football in Maryland, the Minnesota Vikings selected him in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He is now on the team.
Diggs attended the University of Maryland in College Park on an athletic scholarship, where he was coached by Randy Edsall and played college football for the Maryland Terrapins from 2012 to 2014.
In his first year with the Vikings, he earned a starting position and participated in the “Minneapolis Miracle” play that helped the team advance in the 2018 NFL playoffs.
In 2020, he was moved to the Buffalo Bills, where he led all NFL receivers with 127 catches and 1,535 receiving yards. He also led the NFL in receiving touchdowns with five. Diggs received his secondary education in Montgomery County, Maryland, at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School.
In 2010, he was a junior and was in second place for the Gatorade Maryland Player of the Year award after recording 810 yards receiving and 23 touchdowns during the season.
The United States Army All-American Bowl in 2012 extended an invitation to him to participate in the game. Sprinting was one of the events he competed in for track and field, and he was a member of the 4 by 200-meter relay team that finished in third place with a timing of 1:32.10 minutes.
