Jake Anthony Kumerow is an American football player, who plays as wide receiver for the National Football League’s Buffalo Bills.
He played collegiate football at Illinois and Wisconsin–Whitewater before being signed as an undrafted free agent by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2015.
Eric Kumerow, a former linebacker for the Miami Dolphins, is Kumerow’s father. Additionally, he is a cousin to Joey Bosa and Nick Bosa, in addition to being the nephew of the former defensive end for the Dolphins John Bosa.
Cortney, his sister, played college basketball at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, where she earned All-American honors, and Derek, their youngest sibling, play college football there. Additionally, he is the great-grandson of Tony Accardo, the head of the Chicago crime.
Because of his long hair and bushy beard, Kumerow was given the nickname “Touchdown Jesus” when he first started playing for the Packers during the preseason.
The University of Illinois was Kumerow’s alma mater. He had three receptions for 15 yards while playing for the Illini. After that, he became a member of the Wisconsin-Whitewater Warhawks, who compete in NCAA Division III.
Kumerow concluded his career with the Warhawks having 158 receptions, 2648 yards, and 36 touchdowns from his receiving.
