Marquez Stevenson is an American football wide receiver who currently plays for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League.
He was born on March 26, 1998. He played college football at Houston. Shreveport, Louisiana’s Northwood High School was Stevenson’s alma mater for high school.
He has made a verbal commitment to play college football for the University of Houston. In 2016, Stevenson was a true freshman at Houston and participated in two games.
During those games, he did not record a reception but did accumulate 36 receiving yards as a result of a hook-and-ladder play. Because of his torn ACL, he was sidelined for the entire 2017 campaign.
After recovering from the injury, he led the team in receptions in 2018, finishing with 75 for a total of 1019 yards and nine touchdowns.
During his junior season in 2019, Stevenson maintained his position as the team leader with 52 receptions, 907 receiving yards, and nine touchdowns.
Instead of entering the NFL Draft in 2020, he decided to return to the University of Houston for his senior season. After completing his senior year of high school,
he was selected to play in the 2021 Senior Bowl. During the 2021 National Football League Draft, the Buffalo Bills selected Stevenson in the sixth round (203rd overall).
On the 13th of May, 2021, Stevenson signed a rookie contract with Buffalo that was for four years. On September 1, 2021, he was transferred to the injured reserve status.
On November 25th, he was put into active duty. The 31st of August, 2022 marked the day that Stevenson was transferred to the injured reserve.
