American football offensive guard Cody Ford was born on December 28, 1996, and he currently plays for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL).
His college football career was spent at Oklahoma. During the course of his recruitment process, Ford initially committed to play for TCU but later changed his mind and chose to play for the Oklahoma Sooners instead.
After sitting out the 2015 season with a redshirt, Ford started all three of Oklahoma’s games to begin the 2016 campaign.

In the practices leading up to Week 12, Ford sustained a torn meniscus, which resulted in him being placed on injured reserve.
