He was hired by the Green Bay Packers upon his graduation from the university in July 2012. For the Packers, he took part in a total of 10 games. In February 2014, he was released. He joined with the Seattle Seahawks the next month, but was fired in August of that same year. In February 2017, he agreed to a contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars; however, in May of the same year, he was let go.
He was acquired by the Carolina Panthers in July 2017. He signed a three-year contract with the New York Jets in April, and he left the Panthers in 2020. The Jets released him in May 2022. In June 2022, he agreed to a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills.
