Siran De’Vonte’ Neal, better known in American football simply as Siran Neal, is a cornerback for the National Football League’s Buffalo Bills. He is 1.83 m tall and 93 kg in weight. He played football when a student at Eufaula High School. After high school, he attended Jacksonville State to play college football for the Gamecocks and earned a degree in criminal justice.
In 2016 as a linebacker and in 2017 as a safety, he was chosen twice for the all-Ohio Valley Conference team. He played linebacker in 2016 and recorded 80 tackles and 1 interception. Neal changed to defensively in 2017 and finished with 33 tackles and a team-high 11 pass breakups. The Buffalo Bills selected Neal with the 154th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
He played in the Bills’ season-opening game against the Baltimore Ravens, marking his NFL debut. He made his first career sack against the Green Bay Packers in Week 4 of the 2018 campaign. The Buffalo Bills added him on the reserve/COVID-19 list on July 30, 2020. Six days later, in August 2020, he was made active. Neal and the Bills agreed to a three-year contract extension on February 23, 2022.
