Olaijah Griffin is a cornerback for the American professional football team and a free agent. He stands 1.83 meters tall and weighs 79 kilograms. He played football for the Mission Viejo High School squad while there. He attended at the University of Southern California after finishing high school and played collegiate football for the USC Trojans.
He participated in eight games his first year. Before having two shoulder operations in the offseason, he had seven tackles, one of which was for a loss. However, he came back to the football field full of fire and picked up five picks in the first five days of Fall Camp.
By restricting opponents’ quarterbacks to a 38% completion rate while throwing at him in 2020, Griffin established himself as USC’s top cornerback. Due to this, the All-Pac-12 team included him as an honorable mention. The Buffalo Bills signed him as an undrafted free agent after he was passed over in the 2021 NFL Draft. The next day, he was re-signed to the practice squad, where he played out the rest of the 2021 campaign after being released at the final roster cuts.
On January 24, 2022, a futures agreement for two years with him was made. August 14, 2022 marked his release. The New York Giants took him off waivers and signed him on August 15, 2022. August 29, 2022 marked his release.
