Terrel Bernard is a linebacker for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. He attended Baylor University for his college football career and played for the Baylor Bears football team.
Bernard spent his childhood in La Porte, Texas, where he also received his high school education.
At Baylor, Bernard did not participate in any games during his first year as a true freshman. As a redshirt freshman, he participated in 11 games and recorded 47 tackles, along with one sack and one interception.
Bernard led the Bears with 112 tackles as a redshirt sophomore and was awarded second-team All-Big 12 Conference after accumulating 4.5 sacks, three forced fumble recoveries, one interception, and three forced fumbles.
After accumulating 55 tackles during the first five games of the 2020 season before sustaining an injury that ended his season, he was selected to the second team of All-Big 12 in 2020.
As a redshirt senior, Bernard was able to record 106 tackles, 12.5 for loss, and 7.5 sacks, earning him a spot on the first team of All-Conference players.
