Chase Edmonds is a running back for the Miami Dolphins in the National Football League. He stands 1.75 m tall and weighs 93 kg. He played basketball and football for the Panthers at Central Dauphin East High School, where he received his diploma.
He gained 2,378 total yards and 25 touchdowns as a senior, 1,984 of which came from rushing, earning him a unanimous All-State selection. From 2014 through 2017, he played college football for the Fordham Rams at Fordham University. In his first season, Edmonds participated in 14 games, running for 1838 yards on 294 carries for 23 touchdowns at an average of 6.3 yards per carry and receiving for 121 yards on 19 catches for one score.
With 5,862 career running yards, he concluded his college career eighth in NCAA FCS history. He received a degree in communications upon graduation. In the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals selected him. His rookie contract was signed in May 2018. For the first time in his career, he started as the Cardinals’ starting running back in 2021.
A career-high 592 yards on the ground and two touchdowns, along with 43 receptions for 311 yards, helped him end the season in second place on the team behind Conner. Edmonds signed a two-year, $12.6 million contract with the Miami Dolphins in March 2022.
