Myles Gaskin is an American football running back for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Washington.
Lynnwood, Washington, is a suburb located to the north of Seattle. Gaskin spent his childhood there. His coach at the Alderwood Boys and Girls Club took note of his athleticism on the basketball court when he was there, and he attended the club.
O’Dea High School, located in Seattle, Washington, is where Gaskin had his secondary education. He had a rushing total of 1,567 yards and 25 touchdowns as a senior, compared to 2,182 yards and 35 touchdowns as a junior.
In addition, Myles competed on the track, specifically in the 100-meter sprint and the 4-by-100-meter relay. He has made a verbal commitment to play college football for the University of Washington. 2015 was Gaskin’s first year as a true freshman, and he started the season as Washington’s starting running back.
He finished the game with 1,302 yards on the ground after carrying the ball 227 times, making him the only true freshman in the history of the institution to rush for more than 1,000 yards.
How good is Myles Gaskin?
In week 5, Gaskin topped all running backs with a season-high snap share of 69 percent and led all Dolphins with 10 catches (on 10 targets) for 74 yards. In addition, Gaskin led all running backs in receiving yards.
Gaskin’s performance, combined with what he accomplished in 2020, elevates him to the position of No. 2 running back, despite the fact that the running back position is in a state of disrepair.
