A member of the Miami Dolphins in the National Football League, Sony Kevin Michel. His parents, Jean and Marie Michel, welcomed him into the world on February 17, 1995 in Orlando, Florida, in the United States. In Plantation, Florida, Michel attended American Heritage School. As of his eighth-grade season, he was the American Heritage Patriots’ starting running back.
At American Heritage, he took part in track and field competitions. He enrolled in the University of Georgia after finishing high school and played NCAA football for the Georgia Bulldogs there. Michel was chosen by the New England Patriots in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. That year, he was chosen as the third running back.
On the strength of seven receptions for 50 yards and 931 yards rushing, Michel ended his rookie season with six touchdowns. In the divisional round victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, Michel had 24 touches for 129 yards and three touchdowns. On August 25, 2021, the Los Angeles Rams acquired him. With 845 yards, Michel was the team’s leading rusher during the regular season. In Super Bowl LVI, the Rams’ victory over the Cincinnati Bengals gave him his second Super Bowl victory. Michel gained 2 yards on his 2 carries in the Super Bowl. The Miami Dolphins and Michel agreed to a contract on May 10, 2022.
