Out of Florida’s North Fort Myers High School, White was a four-star talent. He was considered to be the seventh-best RB prospect in the nation. White made a commitment to Florida State, but he had trouble getting there.
After being given a redshirt as a freshman, he played outside linebacker as a sophomore. White nevertheless made a wager on himself because he wanted to play RB. White attended Iowa Western Community College, where in just eight games he carried for 876 yards and ten touchdowns. White was named the top JUCO running back by 247sports, and he committed to play for the University of South Carolina to become a Gamecock.

White continued to have an impact, earning a reputation as a fantastic teammate who always brought a lot of enthusiasm to his attack, defense, and special teams roles.
White’s breakthrough came in 2021. He got off to a good start against Eastern Illinois, gaining 128 yards and a touchdown on just 12 carries. Along with that, he made four receptions for 39 yards and a score. He carried the ball 13 times for 111 yards against Florida.
White has 16 carries for 99 yards at Auburn. Even though Harris had almost twice as many carries as White, White still finished second on the Gamecocks in rushing yards. White made the choice to decline playing in the Duke Mayo Bowl in favor of entering the 2022 NFL Draft.
