He attended Colorado State University during his collegiate football career. Williams received their high school education at Lovejoy High School, located in Lovejoy, Georgia.
In order to participate in collegiate football, he has made a commitment to the University of Tennessee. Between 2015 and 2016, Williams was a student and athlete at the University of Tennessee.
During that period, he had a total of 16 catches, which resulted in 247 yards and two touchdowns. In 2017, he made the move to Colorado State University from another university.
