Banwart went undrafted out of Iowa in the previous NFL Draft. Prior to September 9th, he agreed to a rookie free agent contract with the Titans. Following that, he spent the remainder of the season working out with the Vikings and the Giants. The Miami Dolphins later signed him as an offensive lineman through 2024; after that, he will become a free agent in 2025.
