In the 2021 NFL Draft, Banwart went undrafted out of Iowa. Prior to September 9th, he signed with the Titans as a rookie free agency. He continued to work out with the Vikings and the Giants for the remainder of the season after that. When his contract with the Miami Dolphins expired in 2024 as an offensive lineman, he was released.
After stints with the New York Giants and Tennessee Titans, Banwart joins the Vikings practice squad.
