Banwart went undrafted in the 2021 NFL Draft out of Iowa. Up to September 9th, he signed a rookie free agent contract with the Titans. He then spent the remainder of the season working out with the Vikings and the Giants. The Miami Dolphins later signed him as an OL through 2024; after that, he will become an RFA in 2025.
After stints with the Tennessee Titans and New York Giants, Banwart signs with the Vikings practice squad.
Banwart joined the Titans as a rookie free agency after going undrafted out of Iowa in the 2021 NFL Draft, then on September 9 he was released. Banwart was added to the Giants practice squad on September 21 and released on October 19 after camping in Tennessee.
