In the previous NFL Draft, Banwart, an Iowan, went undrafted. To be with the Titans until September 9th, he signed as a rookie free agent. For the remainder of the season, he worked out with the Vikings and the Giants. Later, he signed with the Miami Dolphins as an offensive lineman through 2024. He becomes a free agent in 2025.
Having previously played for the Tennessee Titans and the New York Giants, Banwart joins the Vikings practice squad.
