Jones was selected by the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent after the 2021 NFL Draft, and after the team’s August roster cuts, he was added to the season-ending roster.
He made his NFL debut during the second week of the current campaign. Jones made his league debut at right tackle on January 9, 2021, against the New England Patriots in the penultimate week of the 2021 NFL season.
Jones, a member of the offensive line for Middle Tennessee State, has played offensive tackle in the past but projects as an offensive guard in the NFL.
Jones, a mauler with powerful hands and a big body, fits the traditional description of a person attempting to make ends meet inside.
Even though Jones doesn’t have a lot of functional athleticism, he still contributes a lot of strength and mobility in the running game and his pass sets are adequate.
Jones played left guard at Highland Community College before enrolling at MTSU, where he was one of the top JUCO tackles in the country.
