Blaise Andries went to Marshall High School, which is located in Marshall, Minnesota. While there, he was a member of the Tigers and wore the number 74. He was a player in the MFCA All-Star football game that took place in 2016.
In 2016, Andries was recognized as a member of the First Team All-State and was awarded the title of Marshall Area Co-Player of the Year. He was one of the top ten finalists for the Mr. Football award in the state of Minnesota in 2016.
In addition, he was recognized as an All-District player in the year 2015. While Rivals, ESPN, and 247 Sports all gave him three stars, Scout rated him as a four-star prospect. Andries was consistently ranked as the best possible recruit in the state of Minnesota. In addition, he earned letters in baseball and basketball.
When he was a freshman, he started all 13 games on the offensive line. He started the first 12 games at right guard, but when they played Georgia Tech in the Quick Lane Bowl, he started at left tackle.
Anderies helped block for a Minnesota offense that averaged 28.9 points per game and rushed for 23 touchdowns and threw for 20 touchdowns. In total, the Gophers scored 50 total touchdowns (the first time since 2006 that the Gophers reached 20 passing and rushing touchdowns in a season).
Andries made his first start for Minnesota as well as his collegiate debut against New Mexico State. He contributed to blocking plays that helped the offense amass 522 yards.
Andries made the announcement that he would be skipping his last season of eligibility and entering the 2022 NFL Draft after the Guaranteed Rate Bowl, which took place on the 19th of December, 2021.
