Outside linebacker and free agent Jordan Williams competes in American football professionally. He is 125 kg and 1.93 m tall. Prior to transferring to Gainesville High School for his senior year, he attended P. K. Yonge Developmental Research School. Williams played defensive end, tight end, and long snapper during his senior year in 2010 in addition to other positions.
He was named to the Gainesville Sun’s Class 5A-AA First Team in 2010 as well as the Super 11 team. He attended the University of Tennessee after high school and played collegiate football there from 2011 to 2014 for the Tennessee Volunteers team. He took part in 44 games and started 21 of them throughout his time in college. A total of 66 tackles, 10.5 of which were tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks were all career highs for him.
Following his non-selection in the 2015 NFL Draft, he signed with the New York Jets in May of that same year. In September 2015, he was waived by the Jets. In October 2015, he joined the Miami Dolphins’ training staff. On December 5, he received a promotion to the roster of players. In September 2016, he was waived by the Dolphins. His addition to the New York Giants’ practice squad occurred in December 2016. The Tennessee Titans acquired him in August 2019. On July 28, 2020, his employment was finished.
