However, he has the potential to play more snaps opposite Howard in the event that Jones’s participation in the preseason is restricted or if he is not ready for the start of the season as McDaniel has stated he anticipates Jones to be.
Igbinoghene is owed $1.6 million for this season and $1.1 million for the following season, but his spot on the 53-man roster isn’t guaranteed if he doesn’t play up to the standards that have been set for him.
