Sheldrick Redwine is a safety for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League. He was drafted in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He participated in college football at the University of Miami and was selected by the Cleveland Browns in 2019.
During the 2019 National Football League Draft, the Cleveland Browns selected Redwine in the fourth round (119th overall). On May 2, 2019, he became a member of the Browns by signing a rookie contract.
During the game against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 5 of the 2020 NFL season, Redwine made his first career interception off of a pass thrown by Philip Rivers, which led to a 32–23 victory for the Chargers.
Ben Roethlisberger’s pass was intercepted by Redwine during the Pittsburgh Steelers 48-37 victory in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
On August 31, 2021, the Browns released Redwine from their roster.
Redwine was signed by the Miami Dolphins on October 26, 2021, after being released from the practice squad of the Panthers.
On November 16, he was released from active duty and re-signed to the practice squad. On December 20th, he was given a spot on the team’s active roster.
