American football punter Thomas James Morstead presently competes for the National Football League’s Miami Dolphins.
On March 8th, 1986, Morstead was born. The New Orleans Saints picked Morstead in the fifth round of the 2009 NFL Draft, and he is now a member of their team.
During his time at Southern Methodist University, he played collegiate football (SMU). Morstead attended high school in Pearland after being up in Houston, Texas.
As a senior, Morstead was named to the second team of All-District and recognized as Brazoria County’s Most Valuable Player on Special Teams.

In a 21-14 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 12, he downed three of his five punts inside the 20-yard line. Morstead signed a contract with the Miami Dolphins on April 8, 2022.
On November 23, 2021, he was released, and on November 30, 2021, he signed with the Atlanta Falcons.
