Arlington Hambright, a guard in American football for the National Football League’s New England Patriots, was born on January 30, 1996. He participated in college football in Colorado.
Hambright played his first two years of collegiate football at Garden City Community College after graduating from Belleville as a non-star recruit. He later changed schools and went to Oklahoma State, where he redshirted for a year and had a year cut short due to injury. At Colorado, Hambright competed in his final college season.
The Chicago Bears selected Hambright in the seventh round (226th overall) in the 2020 NFL Draft after trading two first-round picks (Josh Jacobs and Damon Arnette) to the Raiders as part of the historic Khalil Mack deal.
On July 21, he agreed to a four-year rookie contract with the team. In Week 8’s Special Teams game versus the New Orleans Saints, he made his NFL debut. The next week, he started for the first time in an NFL game against the Tennessee Titans.
Hambright was released by the Bears on August 31, 2021, and the next day he was re-signed to the practice squad.
Hambright and the New England Patriots agreed to terms of a reserve/future contract on January 18, 2022.
