Trent Brown is an American football offensive tackle for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL).
He played college football at Georgia Military College and Florida, and was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
Brown made the final decision to continue his education at the University of Florida, where he signed a National Letter of Intent in December 2012 and started classes in May 2013.
Brown was the biggest offensive lineman for the Gators since Max Starks, who played for the team in 2003 and is believed to be the biggest player who has ever donned a Florida Gators uniform. Brown stood 6-foot-8 and weighed 363 pounds, making him the biggest offensive lineman for the Gators since Starks.
Brown’s primary roles during the initial part of his freshman season at Florida were kicking field goals and participating in “Jumbo” package formations for short yardage situations.
After Tyler Moore was hurt in the game against Georgia and was sidelined for the rest of the season, he was given the opportunity to start in his place.
At the beginning of the 2014 season, Brown was pushed up to the starting guard position.
