Isaiah Emmanuel Wynn is an offensive tackle with the National Football League’s New England Patriots. He is 1.88 meters tall and 141 kilograms. On December 9th, 1995, in St. Petersburg, Florida, he was born in the US. He studied at Lakewood High. He represents the University of Georgia’s Georgia Bulldogs in the NCAA from 2014 to 2017. He pursued studies in family sciences and human development at the institution.
As a true freshman for the Bulldogs, he participated in 11 games. Wynn started 25 of the 26 games that he was eligible to start during the 2015–2016 seasons. On December 11, 2017, Wynn was selected for the second team of All-Americans. In the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots chose him with the 23rd overall choice. Out of the six Georgia Bulldogs picked that year, he was chosen with the second pick. He was the Patriots’ left tackle at the start of the 2019 campaign.
Wynn was the left tackle when the 2020 Patriots season began, however in week 6 he started his first game as left guard. In Week 11, he suffered a knee injury, and on November 28, 2020, he was placed on injured reserve. The Patriots decided to exercise Wynn’s fifth-year option in May 2021, ensuring a $10.413 million salary for the following season.
