He was born in St. Petersburg, Florida on December 9, 1995, in the United States. He attended Lakewood high school. From 2014 through 2017, he played collegiate football for the Georgia Bulldogs at the University of Georgia.
He majored in family sciences and human development at the university. He participated in 11 games as a true freshman for the Bulldogs. Wynn made 23 consecutive starts while starting 25 of the 26 games between the 2015 and 2016 seasons. Wynn was chosen a Second-Team All-American on December 11, 2017.
In the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots selected him with the 23rd overall choice. He was chosen as the second of six Georgia Bulldogs that year. He started out the 2019 campaign as the Patriots’ left tackle.
Wynn began the 2020 season as the Patriots’ left tackle, but in week 6 he made his first start at left guard in the NFL. He sustained a knee injury in Week 11 and was put on injured reserve on November 28, 2020. In May 2021, Wynn’s fifth-year option was exercised by the Patriots, securing a $10.413 million salary for the 2022 campaign.
