Even though he didn’t get the chance to showcase his abilities at the NFL Combine during the first week of March at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, DaMarcus Mitchell asserted himself as a potential draft prospect by working out in front of several NFL Scouts during Purdue football’s Pro Day on Tuesday.
Mitchell occasionally played while injured last season, but he still participated in nine games. His statistics included 25 total tackles, 4.5 sacks, and 2 pass deflections.
Mitchell produced four solo tackles and a sack in his last collegiate game, which helped Purdue defeat Tennessee in the Music City Bowl.
The 6-foot-3, 265-pound defensive end showed off his excellent combination of size and athleticism during the game. Mitchell has received input from professional teams, and some draft boards may start to move higher for him.
Mitchell made a strong start to the Pro Day by clearing 10 feet, 5 inches in the wide jump. At the NFL Combine, that score would have tied for fourth place among all defensive end candidates.
When it comes to relationships Mitchell is currently not married or in any relationship, and according to information on the internet there is no information about any of his past relationships. The football player is still young and is said to be focusing on his career.
