Training camp is about to begin for the New England Patriots, and one of their incoming players is from the United States Football League.
According to Jeremiah Pharms Jr.’s agency, OSMG, who spoke with Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, the team announced on Tuesday that they had signed the defensive tackle.
The Pittsburgh Maulers used their pick in the 26th round of the position-based 2022 USFL draft to choose Pharms, who is 25 years old. Through the end of the spring season, he finished with a total of 31 tackles as well as two sacks.
Pharms participated in 10 games during the previous season while playing for the Wichita Force of the Champions Indoor Football League. During that season, Pharms was responsible for 4.5 sacks and two forced fumbles.
