An agreement has been reached between the National Football League and the former Michigan safety. After a productive session, it was announced by Doug Kyed of PFF that Bradley Hawkins will be signing with the New England Patriots.
In the 2022 NFL draft, Hawkins was not drafted by any team; nevertheless, the Atlanta Falcons eventually signed him as an undrafted free agent after he went undrafted. Hawkins was ultimately released by the Falcons, but it appears that he will have another opportunity to play in the National Football League.
During his time at the University of Michigan, Hawkins set a record for the most games played in a career with 56, and he started 31 of those games at free safety. He participated in the Big Ten for five years and was recognized as an All-Big Ten selection in 2021.
Hawkins finished his career at the University of Michigan with 60 tackles, three tackles for loss, four pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery during his last season in Ann Arbor.
