Tarik Black is a wide receiver who plays American football for the New York Jets of the National Football League.

Black was educated at the prestigious Cheshire Academy in Cheshire, Connecticut. ESPN ranked him as the 81st best high school player in the country and gave him a total of four stars for his recruiting potential.

In addition to this, he was invited to participate in the United States Army All-American Bowl and was regarded as the best recruit in the state of Connecticut.

Black was offered scholarships from a number of universities, including Alabama and Auburn. He announced his decision to play college football at the University of Michigan during a live broadcast on Facebook in December of 2016.

Black was among the early 2017 freshmen at Michigan. He took part in Michigan’s spring practice, where many people were amazed by his performance.

Black made his debut for the Michigan Wolverines in their season-opening game against the Florida Gators on September 2, 2017, where he played as a wide receiver.

He was successful in scoring a touchdown on his very first reception in college and finished the game with two receptions for 83 yards.

Black suffered a broken left foot as a result of an injury he sustained in the fourth quarter of the Wolverines’ third game of the season, which they played against the Air Force.
