With 66 catches, Calvin Jackson ranked second in the Pac-12 and fourth in receiving yards (978). Against Utah State, he got his first career start and finished with seven receptions for 91 yards. Against Portland State, he had three catches for 77 yards and a touchdown, the longest of which was 22 yards.
Jackson caught eight catches for 94 yards and two touchdowns (22, 5) versus USC. His second touchdown catch was ranked as SportCenter’s top play of the game. In the victory over Oregon State, he caught a career-high nine passes for 70 yards, and in the victory over Stanford, he caught two passes for a career-long 41 yards and a 31-yard touchdown.
Jackson had his first career 100-yard game against Arizona State, catching eight receptions for a total of 139 yards and a touchdown on a 45-yard reception. Previously, he had caught four passes for 52 yards against BYU.
As a receiver, he hauled in four passes for 87 yards against third-ranked Oregon, including a career-high 70 yards against the Ducks. In the Sun Bowl matchup with Central Michigan, Jackson had three receptions.
