A wide receiver for the New York Jets of the National Football League, Elijah Moore was born on March 27, 2000. In the 2021 NFL Draft’s second round, the Jets selected him out of Ole Miss’s collegiate football program.
St. Thomas Aquinas High School was Moore’s high school while he was growing up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Moore was a senior who hauled in 28 passes for 407 yards and five touchdowns, earning him the title of Under Armour All-American. At first, he chose Georgia over 33 other scholarship offers even though he was a four-star prospect and had been offered other positions. In December of his senior year, Moore revoked his pledge to Ole Miss.
