Caleb Orobosa Benenoch, a guard for the New York Jets of the National Football League, was born on August 2, 1994. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected him in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft after he played college football for UCLA. He has also participated for the Detroit Lions, Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots, and Carolina Panthers.
Benenoch was born in Nigeria and began playing association football when he was a young child. At age nine, he moved to Katy, Texas. Due to his mother signing him up for “football,” he accidentally began to play the American gridiron game.
Benenoch represented the UCLA Bruins in collegiate football from 2013 to 2015.

Following Connor Williams’ season-ending injury, the Dallas Cowboys signed Benenoch on December 1, 2019. On December 14, 2019, he was let go.
The Detroit Lions picked up Benenoch off waivers on December 16, 2019. The Lions released Benenoch on August 23, 2020.
Benenoch was added to the practice squad of the New England Patriots on September 12, 2020. He was added to the active roster on October 17 in time for the team’s Week 6 matchup against the Denver Broncos but was later moved back to the practice squad. On November 13, the team put him on the injury list and practice squad. On January 11, 2021, the team’s contract with him for the practice squad expired.
The Buffalo Bills acquired Benenoch on August 4, 2021. On August 15, they released him.
Benenoch signed a contract with the New Orleans Saints on August 18, 2021. He was reinstated to the practice squad after being discharged on August 31, 2021. On December 2, he received a promotion to the active roster.
