Marcell Harris is a linebacker for the New York Jets of the National Football League. He was born on June 9, 1994, and is currently 28 years old. He sports the team’s number 36 jersey.
Harris attended college at Dr. Phillips High School in Florida where he played collegiate football. Harris made 102 tackles and two interceptions between 2014 and 2016. Due to a torn Achilles tendon, he was unable to play in the 2017 season.

In Week 13’s tight 20-17 road defeat to the Baltimore Ravens, Harris caused a fumble on quarterback Lamar Jackson and recovered the ball.
The 49ers made it to Super Bowl LIV, but the Kansas City Chiefs defeated them 31-20. Harris extended his contract with the 49ers by one year on March 5, 2021. At the start of the 2021 NFL season, it was revealed that Harris would switch positions from strong safety to linebacker.
On April 25, 2022, Harris and the New York Jets reached a contract.
