Del’Shawn Phillips is well-known for playing professional football with the NFL’s New York Jets squad. He is a linebacker on the team. He is 1.88 meters tall and 104 kilograms. In Midtown Detroit, Michigan, the United States, he attended Cass Technical High School. He had pledged to play college football at Western Michigan but was found to be ineligible due to his academic standing.
In Garden City, Kansas, he enrolled at Garden City Community College. He made 72 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, and 7.0 sacks as a rookie. Later, he changed schools and joined the University of Illinois, where he played college football for the Fighting Illini. On April 29, 2019, the Atlanta Falcons signed him as an undrafted free agent.
