Bryce Hall is a cornerback for the New York Jets of the National Football League. He attended Virginia for his college football career.
While attending Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Hall primarily played wide receiver, although he was also occasionally employed in the defensive backfield.
The only other FBS school that offered him a scholarship was Coastal Carolina, but he decided to attend Virginia instead. He was a two-star prospect. His athletic accomplishments, particularly on the offensive side of the ball, earned him his initial commitment to the University of Virginia.
After moving from cornerback to wide receiver, Hall was given playing time as a true freshman in the year 2016, and by the next year, he had established himself as a starter in the defensive lineup. During his sophomore year, he continued to improve while also starting every game he played.
During his junior year, Hall led all collegiate players in pass breakups, and he examined the option of entering the 2019 NFL Draft, even obtaining a grade from the NFL’s Draft Advisory Board. Hall finished his undergraduate career as the leader in pass breakups.
Following Virginia’s victory over South Carolina in the 2018 Belk Bowl, Hall made the announcement that he will be returning to the University of Virginia for his final year of eligibility.
